Fundraiser for CERT

On Tuesday July 15th, volunteers under the leadership of Anne Singleton, held a luncheon in the Snake Valley Community Hall, with the proceeds going to the Snake Valley CERT. Mr Greg Leach from Ambulance Victoria spoke about the importance of Community Emergency Response Team volunteers and mentioned that the Snake Valley team has attended between 150 – 180 call outs annually.The CERT team are trained by Ambulance Victoria. The luncheons at $10.00 for a 3 course meal are very reasonably priced. They bring not only the community together, but people from other towns enjoy their outing to Snake Valley as well.
The next luncheon will be held at the Snake Valley Community Hall, on Tuesday October 14th from
12 PM.
